Creative Projects Ltd consists of two Directors; Darren Squires and Jonathan Clarke, and around 20 staff.

The company was founded in 2006, building on Darrens previous business “Creative Play”. The foundation was largely as a result of the gift of the first Multi-Media Van from Kids Out , a charity dedicated to providing fun and positive experiences for children.

Since then we have acquired a second van and a single-decker bus, fitted out as a mobile youth centre.

The company is a social enterprise, meaning we are a business who’s profits are principally reinvested back into the community. You can find out more about social enterprise at www.humbersidecda.info.

You’re probably wondering what “mobile provision” actually means. Well, it means that we have a team of skilled workers and vehicles who are trained and equipped to come out and run creative workshops anywhere, anytime and anyhow.

Some of the venues we’ve worked at have included youth clubs, night clubs, private homes, libraries, schools, play field, public parks, village greens, village halls, fields in the middle of nowhere, hotels and even open air festivals!We have delivered around 1500 separate events since 2006 and currently undertake most of our work in Humberside (East Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire) but have occasionally ventured further afield (in the last year we have taken the media van to places as far apart as Bournemouth and Inverness).
